Description
Join us for 6 weeks of hand building clay classes. Guided by one of our expert pottery instructors, this class is for anyone interested in learning handbuilding techniques. No previous experience is necessary. You will be taken through the fundamentals of coil building, working with soft and leather hard slab, and pinching. You will also be introduced to the world of slips and glazes and leave with 3-7 pieces of finished pottery. Please note that our studio is 18+.

All necessary tools
Firing of your pottery
Glazes for decorating your pieces
Classes are limited to 9 students. Classes are 2.5 hours, with 2 hours for hands-on instruction and a half hour for cleaning up and discussion.
An additional 11 pounds of clay is available for purchase by students during the course.
There are no make-up classes available if you miss a class, however, we do have drop-ins on Friday for students taking a class.
Cancellation policy
You can cancel your spot up to 10 days before the first class and receive a full refund, minus a $50 administration fee. Cancellations less than 10 days before the first class forfeit the entirety of the class fee.
We reserve the right to cancel a class if we are unable to fill the class with at least 6 students. As we are a small studio we need to have enough students in each class to make it feasible to run a session. If we are unable to fill the class fully, we will do our best to offer students an alternative time/date, or provide a full refund.
