Description
We have a warm and welcoming studio where you can host events for corporate team building, staff events, birthday parties, or anything else. In the warmer months we are able to host events outside, where participants can enjoy the natural surroundings while doing a fun clay project. Groups can either do a wheel throwing class, or hand building project.
Participants in wheel throwing classes will be guided through the steps of centering, opening, pulling up and shaping. Each participant can make up to two pieces, which we will then trim, glaze and fire for your group. Pieces will be ready within 3 weeks for pick-up.
Handbuilding is such a fun way to spend an evening and create something unique to you. We have a range of projects to choose from including: mugs, snack bowls, planters, candle holders, holiday themed décor and more. Have an idea? Get in touch and let us know. Contact info@heyloam.ca with your needs for scheduling a. Prices begin at $360 for one instructor and 3 people, it is $50 per person beyond that. We can accommodate up to 8 people for the wheel and 10 people for a handbuilding event. For larger events please reach out to discuss options and special pricing.
Payment
In order to secure your event, payment must be made in full. Any last minute changes for add-ons, additional attendees or alterations to your scheduled event will be charged the day of the event.
Cancellations or changes:
Sadly we cannot offer a refund on scheduled events. If you need to cancel 14 days or more, in advance, we offer a 50% refund. Any changes made to the date or time of event, after booking, are subject to availability and will incur $50 administration fee.
